December Update

Paldani is having an excellent year thus far. Recently, we turned in our 960 documented service hours to the lodge Service Chairman Andres Badel. This is an outstanding amount of cheerful service spent by Paldani Brothers. We hope to continue by having a large number of people at the upcoming Winter Ordeal, Lodge Banquet, and Section Conference.

On October 21-23, Paldani attended Haunted Forest and entertained the Cub Scouts with “The Cereal Killer”. They also received trading cards, or cereal boxes. We could not have done it without the help of Wax Eye who gladly donated all of the merchandise. Paldani’s adults ran Registration with-out a hitch and received nothing but complements from the Lodge.

On November 11-13, Paldani attended Section Seminars, we were the largest Chapter contingent from the Lodge. We had four of our Chapter members teach classes for the Section.

On December 3, Paldani held a District Call-out for all the members of the District who have been elected at Unit Election’s this year. During the same night we held our annual Charity-o-Thon at the West Broward Masonic Lodge.

On December 12, Paldani had its holiday party. Then we had a short meeting, where we among others things we had a very special guest, Marissa Osceola on the Seminole Tribe of Florida, attended our meeting and shared a little bit of her culture and traditions to the members in attendance.

Chapter Update

Dear Brothers,
On October 15, Paldani attended the Cub Fun Day North and helped park more than 1500 Cub Scouts and Scouters. We worked from 8-12 to help everyone get parked and even helped get a car out that was stuck in the sand. The process went smoothly and people were full of compliments.
On October 21-23, Paldani attended Haunted Forest and entertained the Cub Scouts with a friendly Killer. The Cereal Killer was loved by the Cub Scouts who received trading cards, glow-in-the-dark cards, or cereal boxes. We could not have done it without the help of Wax Eye who gladly donated all of the merchandise. Paldani’s adults ran Registration without a hitch and received nothing but complements from the Lodge.
On November 7, Paldani held a District-wide Den Chief Training and Arrow of Light Mentoring for anyone who needed it in the District. We plan to continue this service at next month’s District Roundtable Meeting.
On November 11-13, Paldani attended Section Seminars in full force, leading the contingent with 15 members out of 34; we were the largest Chapter contingent from the Lodge. We had four of our Chapter members taught classes for the Section.
Paldani has continued to collect hundreds of canned food and stuffed animals for the Lodge. We have already turned in a part of our donation and we have continued to collect and brought in more tonight. Since last month Paldani has completed six Unit Elections.
We are holding our District Callout Ceremony on December 3 at 7:00 at the West Broward Masonic Lodge. After the Callout Ceremony we will begin our yearly fundraiser, The Charity-A-Thon which will last all night and will have food, entertainment, games, and more! All proceeds will go to the JAACF, Hal Hollis NOAC scholarship fund, the Maury Clancy Native American Scholarship Fund, and to the Seminole District Friends of Scouting Program.
Paldani is always looking into the future and we are finishing up the needed Unit Elections for our District and have our Elangomats and Brotherhood Testers for the upcoming Winter Ordeal.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, you can contact either myself or Mr. Gomez.
