December - Elgixin

This month, ELGIXIN has been pretty busy. First of all we have started a newsletter for the chapter, ΓÇ£The Worthy OneΓÇ¥, which our First Vice, Glen Oglesby, started and works on every month. Going in to December we plan to have our annual holiday party at CiCiΓÇÖs Pizza and it is des-ned to be a blast. Also we will be star-ng unit electons in January. In the coming months we plan to make sure we have someone from the chapter at each lodge workday at Elmore coming up to prepare for sec-on conference.

November - Elgixin

Elgixin had a very active month this past month working on planing and building for the Haunted Forest. We had a great time and everything we planned looked great when it came to be.

September - Elgixin

Elgixin is back from summer as we just had our first meeting back, not to long ago. Over the summer, we had our annual chapter picnic full of fellowship throughout the chapter. Also, we had three of our members go to NOAC at Michigan State, one being our Vice Chief, Glen O, who competed in all three competition ceremonies and Honor medaled in all three. Elgixin is excited to be back from summer and hopes for a great year ahead of us.

March Chapter Update

Over the past few months the Elgixin Chapter has been very active. We have had a meeting every fourth monday of the month at the Prince of Peace Church. At the winter ordeal our chapter welcomed 3 new arrowmen and had one member seal his ties in brotherhood.
The Elgixin chapter also volunteered at the Spe-cial Olympics on Saturday, March 2 and 3. On the second, we went and helped set up for the Special Olympics, while on the third we helped to serve lunch and break everything down.

At the Lodge Banquet, our chapter proudly com-peted in the lodge games and had a fun weekend of fellowship with the lodge. The Elgixin Chapter would also like to congratulate all of the new vigil members and all the brothers who sealed their ties in brotherhood. We would also like to congratulate Jonathan McEwan on being awarded the Vigil Honor award. We also congratulate Moose Pedersen and our Lodge Chief, Jonathan Yost, on receiving the Founders Award.

Our chapter also did a fundraiser at the American Legion Post 157. Our chapter received $150 for cooking and serving lunch to them.
